BRATISLAVA, March 29th, 2011
Loan Management, private investment group managed by APS (Asset Portfolio Servicing) and SLAVIA CAPITAL have jointly with APS Romania completed the acquisition of Romanian KBC Consumer Finance IFN from KBC Group NV. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The name of the company will be changed to APS Consumer Finance IFN.
LOAN MANAGEMENT and APS by the above mentioned acquisition follow the investment strategy within the distressed debt and financial services industry in the CE and SEE. Romania as the second largest new Europe market shows the increasing trend and offers further potential of transactions in the distressed debt secondary market. The acquisition of the target company moreover creates an ideal platform to develop the leading role in the acquisitions and asset management of distressed debt transactions in Romania. Loan Management is the private investment group managed by APS and SLAVIA CAPITAL, dedicated to invest in distressed debt opportunities across CE and SEE markets. Loan Management manages non-performing loan portfolios in the nominal value exceeding EUR 145 Mio. APS is the regional asset manager dedicated to manage non-performing portfolios and individual distressed debt transactions within the CE and SEE region covered through it operating offices in Prague, Wroclaw, Bratislava and Bucharest. APS manages non-performing loan portfolios in the nominal value exceeding EUR 690 Mio, where in Romania more then EUR 111 Mio. |
